It’s Leap Day but more importantly, it’s JaNae’s birthday!
Birthdays are a special event for everyone but they are even more significant celebrations when you only get one every four years. According to the New York Times, the odds of being born on Leap Day are 1 in 1,461. It is perfectly fitting for someone as rare and amazing as JaNae to have a birthday that is so unique.
A few news outlets featured JaNae as one of a few “leaplings,” as she calls Leap Day babies, in Louisville this year. For her 40th (or 10th?) birthday, JaNae’s family surprised her with a big party with many of her friends and family in attendance.
